What Women's History Month Means to Us

Tue, Feb 28, 2023

From day one Amanda and I felt strongly that we wanted Le Wren to be a space for women. Our intention was to build a profitable gifting business but also to create a community where women had the opportunity and space to support and uplift each other. In our vision of this company, both pieces have equal importance. We had both been women in the corporate world and subject to all that entails: some positive, a lot not so much.

In the last two years, since Le Wren’s launch, we are simply in awe of the amazing women we have met through this labor of love: vendors, customers, non-profit partners and supporters. It is awe-inspiring what women can do when they focus on uplifting one another. Everything we do here is in service to that ideal – to create our little slice of women supporting women in a completely 360 degree view. The entire concept for our business was after all inspired by our own mothers.

For us, that means sourcing our products from as many women-owned businesses as we can, employing women to help support our vision and doing everything with women’s best interests at heart. Below are some highlights from our beautiful community, to celebrate and commemorate what we are building and recognize how each of you who visit our site are such an important part of that.

Our Customers

Our customers are truly at the heart of everything we do. Receiving these wonderful messages from our valued supporters means the world to us.

“LeWren is my go to online shop for the women in my life! It’s a brand I can count on when looking for something special- a gift that lets the one on the receiving end know that she is valued and loved.” - Erin, Texas

"I had to write to say how completely delighted I am with your products and services! I received a package last year when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer. I was blown away with the quality and variety. It just seemed so extremely personal and special! I loved it! Consequently, I have been using your products and sending to my friends and family instead of flowers. Everyone I have sent a package to has been thrilled! Thank you so much for this much needed service.” - Becky, Maryland

Our Partners

We are lucky to call so many terrific women entrepreneurs our partners. Their incredible products make our job easy and their own inspiring entrepreneurial stories motivate us to keep pushing and growing. These are just a few of those women, but you can read about many of them here.

Erin from Oxalis

Erin started Oxalis Apothecary in her Brooklyn apartment and has since grown the brand into a feel good range of skincare products born out of a long-time love affair with body care, a joyful obsession with the psychology of scent and a desire to create safe, effective, natural products for herself and her loved ones.  She creates her apothecary magic in her New Orleans based studio. One of our favorites is her Feel Good Potion

Latrice from Liplove

Latrice's mission is to create products that bring out your natural radiance and encourage you to take care of yourself no matter what the day holds. Her ethos is one of inclusivity and holding space to be yourself, whatever that means to you. Her products are vegan and incredibly safe for all skin types. She creates each product in her Dallas based studio. We are obsessed with this multi-purpose oil which calms and soothes like nothing we've ever tried before.

Kari Gran

 kari gran skincare line founder

Kari Gran was started ten years ago but friends Kari and Lisa Strain. When Kari was diagnosed at 29 with Graves’ Disease and Hashimoto’s Disease, she started to question all the ingredients that were in her skincare and searching for cleaner solutions, ultimately creating her own. Lisa had the big idea to turn Kari’s products into a business, seeing a need for women that wasn’t really being met in a way that felt authentic or truth-telling. Or, plainly put, calling BS on the beauty industry.  Shop their Lip Whip ultra-moisturizing balm here
